How To Restore the Project Panel in Carveco After Closing It

Overview

It’s easy to accidentally close the Project panel in Carveco — for example, when exiting a simulation view. If you click the small X in the corner of the Project tab, the panel disappears, which can be confusing if you're not sure how to bring it back. This tutorial explains two quick ways to restore it.

Method 1: Right-Click Anywhere on the Grey Area

  1. Find any blank grey space in the Carveco interface (such as an empty panel or docking area).
  2. Right-click on that space.
  3. Select Project from the menu that appears.
Tip: This is the fastest and most intuitive way to get the Project panel back without searching menus.

Method 2: Use the Window Menu

  1. Go to the Window menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Toolbars and Docking Windows.
  3. Click on Project from the list.

The Project panel will reappear in its default docked location or where it was last positioned.

Summary

Summary:
If you close the Project panel by mistake in Carveco, right-click anywhere in the grey docking area and re-enable it, or go to Window → Toolbars and Docking Windows → Project. This will restore the panel so you can access your reliefs, vectors, and toolpaths as normal.
