Can I run Install my Carveco software on a Windows Arm64 computer?

As confirmed by our system requirements, Carveco software is not supported on ARM64 CPUs. While unsupported, we have seen Carveco software used successfully on certain configurations of Windows 11 for ARM64.

To run on Windows 11 ARM64 try the following:

  • Ensure you are running Windows 11 for ARM64 version 24H2 or later. This version was a major update for compatibility support. You can check the version of Windows you have by going to Start Menu > Settings > System > About and scroll down to Windows specifications.

If you need to update Windows 11, you may get the option to on Start Menu > Settings > Windows Update. If the option isn't present then you can download an ISO image from https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows11arm64. You can right-click and mount the ISO image and it will appear as a disk in File Explorer. You can run your upgrade from there.
  • If you have trouble drawing vectors in the 3D view you may also need the OpenGL and OpenCL compatibility pack. This is available through the Start Menu > Microsoft Store.
