Carveco Tutorial: Add Draft Tool

This tutorial covers the Add Draft tool in Carveco Maker Plus, which allows you to apply or remove angles to the side walls of reliefs. This is especially useful for improving toolpath strategies or reinforcing delicate features before machining.

🔹 Applying Draft Angles

• Select Add Draft from the toolbar to open the dialog.
• Choose to Add or Remove material from the side walls.
• Set the Draft Angle (e.g., 20°) and click Apply.
• Undo and try different angles for different effects.

🔹 Works on Detailed and Imported Models

• The draft applies uniformly, even on high-detail or imported STL reliefs.
• Use it to strengthen narrow text or decorative elements that may break during machining.

• Use a vector to cookie-cut the area you want to modify.
• Hide other components and apply draft to the visible relief only.
• Paste it back into your model afterward for localized edits.
