Select the "Lights and Material" icon [found in the Model tool menu]. You can pick presets at the top and make adjustment at the bottom.

If the Eagle is not single line then it is overlapping. overlapping line always create errors. Offsetting the vectors in slightly should solve the issue.

I do use a custom layout for all our seats but it doesn't effect the clipart window.
