Sub folders

A couple of versions ago, subfolders (Layer Groups) were added to the Relief section of the project menu. I was wondering if it would be possible to add subfolders to the Vector section as well. I tend to create a layer for all the different areas in my design and it would be tremendously helpful to break those into groups, as in the Relief section.
