Multiple finishing passes
So am I to understand, I can only do a single finishing pass. Or is there a way to do multiple finishing passes

You could as I have done set your "Z" zero to the top of material set the thickness of your touch pad thicker, touch the "Z" off then run the first finish toolpath, then after that one is done reset your touch pads thickness to thinner then re-touch your cutter and cut your toolpath.

ps. the easiest way I know of to get that last .005 and clean up some of the material.
