What's Causing This?

Hi everyone.

I have an issue when my work is being produced. An example of this is when I'm producing letters. At the end of each letter there is a small tick , frustrating but instantly notable. So when printing the number one , it would come out looking like a capital I. Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks in advance

  • Do you mind if I ask "How are you holding the material down?" Wait a minute are you printing these bad boys? or are you cutting them out on a cnc? If it's cnc then my question is very valid.

  • Hi Mike

Thanks for your response. I'm using an Ooznest Workbee. I'm not at the workshop today but ill try and get a few photos uploaded of what i mean. The wood is always screwed down so there's no chance of any movement. Thanks again

  • This is the best I can do so far. As you can see there's unwanted  added features at the end of the letters and on other parts of the work I'm doing. There's no fault on anything I'm using , its something I've caused and cant work out what it is.

    Thanks for any advice

  • Hi Stephen Freeman,

Please confirm whether you're using Workbee Control alongside your Ooznest Workbee CNC machine. If you are, when saving your calculated toolpaths from Carveco Maker, please confirm whether you're currently selecting the WorkBee (mm) (*.gcode) post processor option from the Save Toolpaths dialog's Machine file format list and then loading the resulting .gcode file to your Workbee Control.

In addition, please share your Carveco Model file (.art) here by uploading it through the free WeTransfer service using its Get transfer link option, and then posting the generated link here as part of your reply. You don't need to create an account with WeTransfer to generate links to uploaded files.

Thanks again for your time and consideration.
