Relief carving a dish and getting error

Trying to carve a dish shape that I imported from the clipart library.

When I try to calculate the toolpath (machine relief), I get "Toolpath calculation failed.  The Tolerance maybe too small, check other parameters and data.

No matter what I set the tolerance to, I never get past this error.

Is there a way to tell what parameter it doesn't like ?

  • Hi, I am getting this same problem.  Trying to carve seahorse from clipart library.  Also issue with Z slices, getting error message that the start height must be higher than the last slice, even when set to automatic (start 0, last 1). Why would automatic have wrong settings?

  • Is anyone getting any answers from Carveco?  This is the third time I have seen this posted (because I am having the exact same issue) and I have not seen an answer yet.
Is this how Carveco treats their customers?
