Preview Finished cut design
I have Maker Plus.
I dove right in. I watched a bunch of videos but it seems I am missing something. I designed an entwined heart vector, imported it and I added a shape to the vector with the shape editor. I created a rectangle for the base, used shape editor to create a plane and set it's start height at .4 (can't really see it, but it's there) which is the thickness of the material.
It's going to be a "sculpture" I am mirroring it and will glue it together, roiund the pointed edges with sandpaper, in my mind, it's going to be really nice. Looks pretty good in the shape editor, but it's sitting on a flat plane with no relation to thickness of the material. I get it, you set material when you start a toolpath, but in this case because of the plane and because I set a start height, the material thickness is already set to .4
I created a set of toolpaths and now all I see is red. I can see my underlying vectors and the blue tool paths but not the "finished" cut product.
I want to see what it is going to look like when finished and if I screwed something up. What am I missing? Is there a button I am not seeing? The "toggle material block visibility" is greyed out.
I want to continue learning this software, but simple things seems to be bit frustrating. I know it's me though.

Hi Eric Gormly,
It doesn't seem as though you've simulated the calculated toolpaths in your model within Carveco Maker+ yet. Please watch the following demonstration video included in our Carveco Fundamentals training course: Simulation
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Oh thank you, I knew it had to be something simple. All set!
I enjoy your statement Eric, we all do things like that even those who have had the software for 20 plus years, its always the simple things we just know after what it was we did so we don't have to ask. After the fact we get to talk to ourselves (hahahahaha).
