RETICULATED BUCKLES

Using a combination or Carveco and Rhino, we were able to make a range of reticulated buckles, these are then cast in solid brass and sterling silver.  The frames  and buckle pin were created in Carveco and exported with inverted reliefs to get the same front and back, the frames were then assembled and booleaned to create a solid mesh, the pin was added to finish off the render.

We make them with ceramic coating with a range of over 100 colours, and in precious metal in about 20 colours

The  whole job was then exported as STL files for printing on an SLA printer.

One thing to watch our for is the thickness of the grids otherwise you will get a lot of print failures

  • I run wood, and that's all, some plastics and once in a great while some aluminum but what you all do is amazing. The printing, the casting and all the other stuff you jewelers do is mind boggling, would like to spend some time in your shops to see how it all goes together, but in the mean time my head will just go poof.
