Metallic Finish?
Hi All - is there some way to apply a metallic finish to the model so I can show my client what the product will look like once it's been plated. We are designing jewelry. Thanks!

Hi Stephen,
You're working in Carveco Maker, which as our entry-level product does not include Lights and Material settings, or the new 3D Viewer preview feature; this functionality could be used in combination to achieve the type of results you're describing. You can compare the different Carveco products here.
Out of interest, what type of jewellery are you designing and creating in Carveco Maker? Please share screenshots and further details with the community so that we can provide you with more specific guidance. Thanks in advance.
Thanks - what version has this and where can I ffind pricing on it?
In Carveco Maker, you can simulate your toolpaths and render the toolpath simulation using a material; select the Help > Reference Help menu option in Carveco Maker to display the Reference Help, and then review the The Project panel > Working with models > Simulation section.
When it comes to designing and manufacturing jewellery, our customers most often use our flagship Carveco product. That said, this is why you were invited to share more information about exactly what it is that you're attempting to create; the more information you share, the more informed the responses shall be.
You can purchase a monthly subscription to any of the three Carveco products from our online store and the associated pricing is shown there. Alternatively, if you are interested in purchasing a perpetual license to either Carveco or Carveco Maker+, you're most welcome to contact our Sales team directly by email at sales@carveco.com and an agent will be happy to assist you.
Thank you. I will share if my client releases me from our non-disclosure agreement at the conclusion of the project. I'll take a look at the other package. Is there a short term trial version available?
Please contact our Sales team if you'd like to request a trial license for our flagship Carveco product.
Stephen,
It's always cool to see what others have dreamed up in using the software, you, I don't think have much to worry about when it comes to people swiping your ideas,
Here is something I came up with this last year and has done fairly well called coloring books here's one of them.
enjoy mike
ps not finished still had to get the knives out to get rid of the fuzzies.
Very nice Mike old boy, well done.
Tried something new and it worked, esp with my grandchildren I sent out over 200 of these to them, mom and dad said uhh dad their rooms are not big enough............ Oh well.
