Machine Relief - Finishing pass - Issue
My machine relief toolpath has a roughing pass and a finishing pass (using Raster classic). I notice the finishing pass wastes a lot of cycles. I goes over areas that the roughing pass has already removed.

So are you using the machine selected vectors or are you machining the whole model? This, I take it is the simulation, right?? What have you chosen in your toolpaths (tolerances ect..) in your roughing then in your finish, by the way what are the bit sizes?

Without seeing your settings this will just be an assumption.
But I expect your roughing pass is set to leave .02 on for the finishing pass therefore the finishing pass will machine the complete relief area to remove the .02 or whatever was left on by the roughing pass
