Zero Rest

I know this has been dealt with but I cannot remember how to do it and search is not turning anything up. How do I replicate the old shape editor commands of zero (selected area ) or zero rest? I know there are keyboard short cuts for Carveco but cannot recall what they are. Any assistance will be appreciated.

  • Select the vector and hit either ctrl+0 or ctrl+alt+0 (just in case of confusion, the + sign is not included in the hot key). There are icons available for these 2 commands if you prefer using icons rather than hot keys.

  • Are these icons the "Zero inside Vector" and "Zero outside Vector"?

  • Gary,

In order to zero something out you need to use the menu bar, go to "Relief" go down to "Edit" and about half way down you will see "Zero inside vector" then just below that you will see "Zero outside vector" these have taken the place of "Zero Rest".

Of course if you need to restart your model that is there also but just below the word "Sculpt" which is below "Edit", we now have to use the menu bar instead of using the rt. mouse click for a lot of things.
