Fillet / Chamfer relief edge ??
Is there an easier way to round over / chamfer the top edges?
I seem to be fiddling too much with doing this. Then again, I am
new to it all also. Need a new PC.
I've yet to find it but is there a way to enter values like .125"
for a roundover?
Is there a magic button?
Thanks

Depends on what you're doing, if your project is a flat top then you can use the shape editor, with this you can restrict it to height while giving a round-over, if your project is not a flat then a photo of said project would be helpful, if its the edge then just run a toolpath with a round over bit using the profile toolpath, but like I said a photo would help clarify how to help instead of general coverage.
If you are talking about giving a closed vector and you want the corners to have .125 curve instead of a sharp corner then take a look at your creation tool, here you have that option.

Please post pics of what you are doing...There's always a way to do something, but how complicated it gets is highly dependent on what you want to do.
Im sorry guys, a bit sick here and foggy.
Nothing complicated, it's what Michael said within Shape Editor and restricting height.
Truthfully its a PITA. It would be nice to have a Fillet/Chamfer option along w/ the height options.
Again, im new to it so bear w/ me, I only have about 3 weeks into it. Too bad it couldnt have
some of the features like fusion.
Anyways... I need to play some more and read up on things. just thought maybe there was
a magic button someone knows about
Thanks a batch!

here's a pointer for you, there is a lot you can do with the 2 rail sweep, you can put any type of angle, curve or shape you can imagine between 2 rails (vectors) they can be open, or closed, sometimes you have to think outside of the box, sometimes you have to look at the options in using the tool, you jut have to use it play with it think of it.
Here is one I did for you first its a closed whatever 2 rails and a cross section that gives the shape inside after the shape is done I used the inside vector to raise it up using the shape editor.
Hope you have fun experimenting with the tool.

Forgot to add a ps. there are also cutters you can use after the fact to give you a round over or a chamfer using the toolpath "profile" as long as you get the diameter of the sharp point and use that to follow the vector so you don't gouge your work.

Hi Ronnie, what I often do is use the tool Offset relief, first "inside" and then "outside". If you do this with an offset value of 0.125 you will get a top radius of 0.125. After that you will generally need to do some smoothing.
