Profile & Final Pass - skipping straight to final pass
I have 35" rectangle Profile pass. Total depth .95 inches. I selected the final pass allowance to be .01 inches.
The first toolpath is not performing. I can see this also in the simulation. Only the "LP" toolpath is performing.
What am I doing wrong? This happened previously. I guess I have never down a Profile Final Pass option before. Gcode also included below. Thanks!

Here's a snapshot of the simulation. I also fixed the final pass from .01 to -.01.

Here's a screen shot of the way I do it when I want a slight final pass, try it and see, by the way you didn't specify final pass depth, I used a 100 thousandth and it takes 2 different passes. I use 1 thousandths as a tolerance also, this holds fairly close to the vector and doesn't slow things down too much.

ps, I didn't do sharp corners mainly because the model I used isn't ready and just wanted to show what I usually do, and this is a new pc and haven't transferred my files yet.
Thanks. Thats the same setup I am doing. I think there is a bug on my application or something. I do need to update to the latest version. I will try that.
I dont need a final thickness on this particular job.

Check final pass thickness, in your pic you didn't do that, this is the only way the toolpath will do it. Double check the photo I put here and the one you put.

I’m not trying to do a final pass thickness. Only trying to do final pass allowance. To clean up the edges.

Leighton goes over the Profile tool path, toward the middle of the second half of the 25 minute video he goes over just this issue, How to do a clean up pass. I played with what he suggested, it works.

Hi Greg,
Check your tool stepdown. If by chance you have it at the full depth, the Final Pass Allowance may not work properly.
