Engraving using the Laser Machining function in Carveco

Any one with any experience using the laser machining function in Carveco for engraving? At this point any information would be helpful. I am wondering if I can use it to enhance a relief carving with a laser.

  • I put a link to a YouTube video, I didn't do it. I think it's kind of helpful, did it about aonth ago, don't know why you didn't see it, but if you do a search on line you'll be able to see some of these things.

  • The link didn't show up. What is the name of the link? Sometimes the alogorithms strip links off of sites like this because they don't want people adversising. I looked but didn't find anything specific to Carveco Laser Machining. Thanks so much for the replies. I am working on the fringe of both laser and CNC. I want to take a laser design and carve it with a CNC. Not deep, just enough to add a third dimension. The carving would start on the top of a box and then extend down the front. Then use the laser to enhance the carving with the laser.I am attaching a sample of our laser work. I am currently modifing my CNC to get 12"of Z.

My direct email is pakpck@live.com Not sure if this will get through either.
