Panelling and origin issues
Hello,
i have an issue with a big vector i have to panellize, and if i try to use the panel tool it gives an error that the origin must be at the bottom left... but i cannot use bottom left my machine origin is in the top right and cannot be changed(operates on negative numbers) so if i use "bottom left" it would essentially try to machine outside the bed.
After panelling can the origin be changed?, or do i need to submit a change request to carveco?

Have you tried it yet? I know your machine will jet to some place in outer space if you do such, I have use a techno for over 20 years in my control software I can dictate where I wish to start, I did a bunch of blunders to find out some things, I called techno and they instructed me how to do things like that. Would the people who designed the control software that runs your router answer some simple questions, Like changing start locations, setting origins and such?
Let me look at that again (changing origins after the fact) I will have to look because I just don't have to worry about It, because I just don't need too.I"ll come back to let you know.

Have you contacted the people who sold you your machine yet? Have you found out anything yet?

we can't change the origins of our machine, manufacturer is extremely hard to get into contact and they barely support executing gcode

That reallllly sucks, who are they (if you don't mind), I'd hate to purchase from people like that?
What's the control software maybe someone has found a way to implement what you need?
Maybe there is something out there that'll help?
