Tried to vcarve text, but text is is very archaic no matter what font I use. was working fine but recently went bad, right after the update.

Do you have a picture of it so it's clear, there are a couple thing that could have changed, since I'm just a user and not support take it with a grain of salt. Check your resolution, it could have changed, Is this a new model or one that was started before the update? If its a new model best to check it.
