Relief clipart Library window
When I open Carveco and select the clipart icon the window opens docked to the left-hand side. I can then drag it to a location that works for my needs. When I closed and restarted Carveco I needed to repeat this procedure. On the other hand, if I want to use my 'shape editor or 'transform' tools, the window always opens in the same location it was last used.
My question is, can I have my clipart window open in the last location used as well?

I don't use it but I do believe you can save your layout as a I think "custom layout" (?). To me it would just be too much to remember. I think it is under the window menu on the task bar.

I do use a custom layout for all our seats but it doesn't effect the clipart window.
Mark,
I tried that and it still comes up on the left side.
Like I said I don't use custom layouts but I did save the the thing as a custom but I still had to reload carveco then it would come up on the rt side, but when I shut it down then restarted it it would not load the custom layout.

Hi Mark,
Try this: After placing the Relief Clipart window where you want it, then Save as the Layout. Then restart Carveco and first thing you Load your saved layout. Now, if you open the Relief Clipart window it will be where you saved it. Unfortunately, you'll need to load your layout every time you open Carveco.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Elina.
Hi Elina.
I tried that a few times but still got the same results. I tried saving the *.alo file locally instead of on the network but that didn't help either. I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't dock the window shifting everything to the right. I work on dual monitors with the 2d on the left and the 3d on the right and it throws off my whole working space. I have been trying to get this resolved since ArtCAM was owned by Delcam so I'm not expecting a quick resolution. This is just one of my two pet peeves that have been irritating me for years so I'm hoping to get some traction on addressing the issues.
Thanks for the suggestion!
