How can I add a font when creating vector text?

Carveco software supports TrueType (*.ttf) and OpenType (*.otf) fonts only.

The Tool Settings: Text Tool panel's Font list within your Carveco software is built from the collection of TrueType (*.ttf) and OpenType (*.otf) fonts installed in C:\Windows\Fonts\ on your computer.

If you have a new font that you want to use within your Carveco software, ensure it is:

  • in either TrueType (*.ttf) or OpenType (*.otf) format.
  • correctly installed to C:\Windows\Fonts\ on your computer.

Once the font has been installed, restart your Carveco software, select either the Vector > Create > Text menu option or click the Design toolbar's Create Vector Text button from within an open model, then scroll through the Tool Settings: Text Tool panel's Font list to confirm whether it is included.

  • Hi David,

Based on the information you've provided, you're selecting the Transform tool rather than the Create Vector Text tool.

If you've selected the Transform tool, the Tool Settings: Transform panel is displayed on the right of the interface. If you've selected the Create Vector Text tool, the Tool Settings: Text Tool panel is displayed on the right of the interface.
