AI Credits: Purchasing, Managing, and Cancelling AI Credit Subscriptions

AI Credits are used to power the AI-driven features within Carveco, specifically Text to Relief and Image to Relief.

This article explains how to purchase AI credit subscriptions, manage them, and how they differ from one-off credit packs.

Overview of AI Credits

All Carveco subscriptions (Carveco Maker, Carveco Maker Plus, and Carveco Pro) include a monthly allowance of AI credits as part of the product.

If you need additional credits, you can purchase:

• AI credit subscriptions (recurring monthly top-ups)
• One-off credit packs (single purchases with no renewal)

These credits are optional add-ons and do not replace your included monthly allowance.

Where to Manage AI Credits

All AI credit management is handled within your Carveco Account.

To access AI credit settings:

1. Log in to your Carveco Account
2. Use the left-hand main menu
3. Select the AI menu item

From here, you can:

• Purchase subscriptions
• Buy one-off credit packs
• Change subscription plans
• Cancel subscriptions
• View your AI Credit purchase history
• View your AI Credit Balance 

Purchasing an AI Credit Subscription

An AI credit subscription provides a regular monthly allocation of additional credits, automatically renewing each billing cycle. These credits are in addition to the included allowance of credits you receive with an active Carveco product subscription. 

To purchase a subscription:

1. Go to the AI section in your Carveco Account
2. Choose an AI credit subscription plan
3. Complete the checkout process

Once purchased:

• Credits are added to your account immediately
• Your subscription will renew automatically each month unless cancelled
• Credits are replenished at the start of each billing cycle

Cancelling or changing an AI Credit Subscription

You can cancel your AI credit subscription at any time through the AI section of your account, or switch to a different AI credit subscription as your credit needs require. 

To cancel an existing AI credit subscription:

1. Go to the AI section in your Carveco Account
2. Locate your active AI credit subscription (under Active AI Subscriptions / Packs)
3. Select Cancel. 

Any active credit subscriptions are shown at the top of this page:

After cancelling:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged again unless you reactivate or purchase a new subscription

We recommend cancelling before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

To change to a different AI subscription:

1. Go to the AI section in your Carveco Account
2. Locate your active AI credit subscription (under Active AI Subscriptions / Packs)
3. Select Edit. 
4. Choose the alterative credit subscription you wish to switch to. 

One-Off Credit Packs vs Subscriptions

In addition to subscriptions, you can also purchase one-off credit packs.

One-off credit packs:

• Are a one-time purchase with no renewal
• Add credits to your account immediately
• Are suitable for occasional use or to meet the demand of a specific project

AI credit subscriptions:

• Use recurring monthly billing
• Automatically top up your credits each month
• Are suitable for users who regularly access Carveco's AI tools. 

Both options apply credits that are in addition to the monthly AI credit allowance included with your Carveco subscription.
