How to Use AI Credits in Carveco

Carveco’s AI-powered tools give you the freedom to turn ideas into visuals and reliefs in just a few clicks. Whether you're generating images or creating detailed reliefs, AI credits are the key to accessing these advanced features.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to use AI credits efficiently and effectively.

What Are AI Credits?

AI credits are virtual tokens used within Carveco to access AI-generated content. They are consumed when you generate images or reliefs using Carveco’s AI tools.

How Do I Get AI Credits?

Standard Credits with Subscriptions

If you're on a Carveco subscription plan, you automatically receive a standard allocation of AI credits each billing cycle. See FAQs below for details.

Purchase Additional Credits

Need more? You can buy additional credit subscriptions or one-off credit packs directly from your Carveco Account.

Check Your Balance

Your current AI credit balance is always visible in your Carveco Account Dashboard, so you know exactly how many you have left.

How to Use AI Credits

Enter a Prompt

In the Prompt Box, type a clear and descriptive text that outlines what you want the AI to generate. For example:

“a Celtic knot design in gold”
“a detailed lion’s head in a medieval style”

Tips for Getting the Best Results:

Be Descriptive: Instead of “tree,” try “twisted oak tree with roots and detailed bark, in grayscale, side view.”
Use Style Cues: Mention artistic styles (e.g., “engraving,” “Art Deco”) or materials (e.g., “carved in wood”).
Avoid Vague Prompts: Generic input like “animal” may lead to unpredictable results. Be as specific as possible.

Click “Generate Image”

Once you're happy with your prompt, click the Generate Image button.

This action uses 4 AI credits.
The credits are immediately deducted from your balance once the image is generated.

Create a Relief

From your AI-generated image—or from any uploaded image—you can create a 3D relief.

Clicking the Generate Relief button uses 5 AI credits.
Credits are deducted once the relief is created.

Need More Credits?

If you run low on credits, log in to your Carveco Account to purchase additional subscription plans or one-off credit packs.

What are AI credits?

AI credits are digital tokens used within Carveco to generate images and reliefs using artificial intelligence. Each generation consumes credits depending on the output type.

How many credits does it take to generate an image?

It costs 4 credits to generate an image from a prompt. The software will provide you with four images to choose from.

How many credits does it take to generate a relief?

It costs 5 credits to generate a relief. You can either generate it from an AI prompt or upload your own image.

If uploading an image, are there resolution requirements?

The image must be larger than 250×250 pixels. For large images, Carveco automatically downscales the file to match your software’s model resolution limits.

What credits are included as standard in my subscription?

How do I purchase more credits?

You can purchase more credits via your Carveco Account. Options include:

Monthly Subscriptions:

100 credits – $7.50

3,600 credits – $180.00
9,600 credits – $360.00

One-off Credit Packs:

300 credits – $27.00
900 credits – $76.50

Do unused credits expire?

Yes, unused credits expire 1 year after the date of purchase.

Can I preview or undo image generations without using credits?

Previews are not available. Image and relief generations always consume credits. There is no “undo,” and once you leave the generation wizard, your generation history is lost.

Why did generating an image fail but still consume credits?

If an image generation fails due to a system error, credits are usually automatically refunded. If they’re not, please contact support with the prompt ID or timestamp.

Can I use AI-generated images commercially?

Yes, for most plans, AI-generated images come with commercial usage rights. However, ensure your prompts do not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or depict prohibited content.

What kind of prompts can I use?

You can type natural language descriptions such as “a futuristic city at sunset with flying cars.” For best results, be specific about style, lighting, and composition. See our inspiration page for ideas.

Is there a free trial or starter credits?

New users receive 10 free credits upon signup. These allow you to try image and relief generation features. If you run out of credits during your trial, you can purchase more at any time to continue using the tools.
