If you clicked the link in your invitation email to move your legacy store account over to the new Carveco Account platform and saw:
Authentication error – Access expired
Don’t worry - this is easy to resolve. The error usually happens if too much time has passed since the email link was sent.
Who this applies to
This article is only for customers who have already received an invitation email asking them to move over to the new Carveco Account platform.
If you haven’t had an invitation yet, you don’t need to do anything - one will be on its way to you soon.
How to fix the error
- Go to https://account.carveco.com.
- Click Log in.
- In the login window, choose Don’t remember your password?
- Enter the email address associated with your Carveco order and follow the password reset steps.
- Check your inbox and use the password reset email to set your password and activate your Carveco Account.
This triggers the same migration process as your original invitation email — just without the error.
What happens next
- Once your password is set, your subscription will be transferred to your Carveco Account and your old license key will be deactivated.
- In some cases, payment details can’t be moved automatically. If that applies to you, we’ll send a follow-up email asking you to update them.
- You can also update payment details any time from inside your Carveco Account: Update my payment details.
