Do I have a Carveco Account? You might not...

Depending on which store you used to purchase/subscribe to your Carveco Software dictates if you have a Carveco Account. 

Carveco currently uses two separate stores to manage software licensing and subscriptions:

  1. The Carveco Account – our current platform, introduced in February, 2025
  2. The Carveco Legacy Store 

Although both platforms are currently active and allow purchases, we are aiming to phase-out our legacy store towards the end of 2025. 

The Carveco Account platform allows you to log in with your email and password, manage your license, download software, update billing details, and more. However, many existing customers are still using the older license key system, and may not yet have access to this new platform.

We are currently in the process of migrating existing customers (with license keys) over to the new Carveco Account platform via email invite. This article aims to help you quickly identify which system you're using—and whether or not you currently have a Carveco Account.


You Do Not Have a Carveco Account If:

  • Your currently active Carveco software was/is activated using a long, alphanumeric license key
  • The license information shown in your currently active software under Help > About Carveco is using our legacy store ordering format: "US-CS123456" or "CD-123456" (for example)
  • You haven't received a Carveco Account email invitation.
  • You have never logged into account.carveco.com

If any of the above apply, you're using the legacy licensing system and do not yet have a Carveco Account.


You Do Have a Carveco Account If:

  • You purchased/subscribed directly via Carveco.com from the end of February, 2025 onwards
  • You activated your current Carveco software using your email address and password
  • The license information shown in your currently active software under Help > About Carveco is contains our new license format fields: "License ID:1234" and "Activation ID: 1234" (for example)
  • You can access and manage your account at account.carveco.com

If you see a login screen when launching the software, you are using the Carveco Account system.


We’re Migrating Legacy Customers to Carveco Accounts

We’re gradually moving customers from the legacy system into the new Carveco Account platform.

If you have an active subscription or perpetual license, you’ll receive an email invitation with instructions on how to transition to a Carveco Account when your account is ready to migrate. 

If you have yet to receive an invite, please bear with us - we're migrating customers in batches to ensure a smooth, problem-free experience. An email invitation will be with you soon.
