"JWT Malformed" Error – What It Means and How to Fix It

If you see a “JWT Malformed” message when trying to access your Carveco account or any related service, don’t worry -  it’s a common login issue that can usually be fixed in just a few steps.

🧐 What does this error mean?

This error means the system is having trouble reading the little digital "pass" (called a token) that proves who you are when you log in.

Sometimes that token gets:

  • Out of date
  • Damaged
  • Saved incorrectly in your browser

When that happens, our system can’t verify your identity — so you may get blocked from logging in or using the service.

🛠️ How to Fix It

Here are a few quick and easy things you can do:

1. Log Out and Log Back In

  • Fully log out of your Carveco account
  • Close your browser window
  • Reopen it and log back in

This often solves the problem instantly by giving you a new, valid token.

2. Clear Your Browser’s Cookies and Cache

Old stored data might be interfering with your login.

To clear cookies and cache:

  • Go to your browser’s settings
  • Find Privacy or History settings
  • Select the option to Clear browsing data (include cookies and cached files)
  • Restart your browser and log in again

If you're not sure how to do this, you can click here for a quick guide from Google.

3. Try a Different Browser or Device

If the issue continues:

  • Try logging in from a different browser (like Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox)
  • Or try using another device (such as your phone or tablet)
