As an Administrator, you can change the role of a User from your Carveco account, effectively extending or limiting their access to information and their ability to complete actions.
To change a User's role:
- Log in to your Carveco account.
- From the sidebar menu, click Users. The Users page is displayed, listing each of the Users in your Carveco account.
- Click the User's name. The User Info page is displayed.
- Click the
icon. The Edit User form is displayed.
- Click the Role list, then choose:
- User to grant the User permission to view your order history and your subscriptions, along with the ability to download software installers and to activate a license using their account credentials.
- Admin to grant the User permission to view your order history and how your licenses are being used, along with the ability to add further Users, to manage your subscriptions, to download software installers and to activate a license using their account credentials.
- Click Save. The User's new role is applied.
