When purchasing either a perpetual or subscription product from a Carveco sales agent or partner on or after July 27th 2022, the buyer must specify who is:
- added to the Carveco account as the Primary Contact;
- granted an Administrator role.
All communication relating to your Carveco account is sent to the email address registered against the person delegated as the Primary Contact.
As the Primary Contact, you have control over the payment methods used for your Carveco purchases.
As an Administrator, you have access to the Carveco account console. Here you can swap the person delegated as the Primary Contact, enabling you to redirect the communication relating to your Carveco account.
Note
The Primary Contact cannot be deleted from your Carveco account. Before deleting the User currently chosen as the Primary Contact, an Administrator must delegate a new Primary Contact from the list of Users in your Carveco account.
To delegate a new Primary Contact:
- Log in to your Carveco account console.
- From the sidebar menu, select Users. Your User Management controls are displayed which includes a table of Users. In the Primary Contact column, a Yes is shown beside the User delegated as the Primary Contact.
- From the Actions column, click the Make User Primary icon
. In the Primary Contact column, a Yes is shown beside the User delegated as the new Primary Contact, while a No is shown beside the User previously chosen as the Primary Contact.
