Hi Mike, That is exceedingly generous of you. I am actually trying to cut a wing strut out of Spruce.  I've done the math, and it is WAY strong enough, so no need to use aluminium tubing. Basically...

My bad.  I was talking about an airplane wing.  Apologies.  And I'm using Carveco MakerVersion: 1.21 Does this help? Basically - how does one extrude a shape?   Duncan
