    Mike, Great idea, simple and elegant.  I'll have to cut the parts in two setups, but if I spend a few minutes up front to create a pocketed jig, this should work very nicely and I can batch the cut...

    Mike, Thanks for the idea.  The problem is that the angle changes.  The part actually sits at a 3° angle and connects to horizontal pieces.  I've made these before using a jig on a 12" sanding disk...
