Vector merge

I am trying to import a svg of a " indalo man " here in Spain the image says svg elements not supported - image   its been exported from Photoshop CC as an svg  what is going wrong 

 

please help   TIA

    Hi Steve Jackson,

    You must ensure that you're saving vectors in SVG format from Photoshop CC; we do not support images saved in SVG format.

    Why would he ensure to save as svg if svg is not supported? Asking for a friend.

    Vectors saved in SVG format are supported, while images saved in SVG format are not.
