Carveco Maker to Snapmaker 2.0 Luban software

Has anyone successfully saved and loaded Maker files to Snapmaker Luban.  I have loaded the snapmaker post processor but no luck (also changed file extensions).  Also I could not get the snapmaker tool library to load to Maker at all..just get an error.  Would love to hear from anyone who has made any headway.

  • Hi James T Blanton,

Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with support for using Snapmaker Luban software; you'll need to contact the developer regarding this.

Please confirm whether you've installed the Snapmaker_arc_cnc.con post processor file to C:\Program Files\Carveco\postp\ on your computer, saving your calculated toolpaths from Carveco Maker using the Snapmaker CNC (mm) (*.cnc) post processor option, and then loading the .cnc files into Snapmaker Luban.

Please note that unless the Snapmaker tool library is saved in .tdb format, it will not be compatible with any Carveco product.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

  • Understand, I have installed the postp, however this product has not been updated either for snapmaker software or carveco updates for a couple years.  Unable to load any file into snapmaker from carveco.

Will be looking for a different software solution...thanks

  • Has this solution been found yet? Can you post process and export to USB drive then load the CNC file into the machine directly?

  • I think I got it to work using the art cam post processor. Copied into carveco postp folder. Then saved my file to jump drive and I'm currently running on my snapmaker 2.0 A350 directly from my jump drive.
