Beautiful Michael. Have you actually used it with you phone and if so what app or program do you use?
John
Hi John Thanks I have the option of connecting it to my phone I have not done it yet. I was looking at the autodesk drawing program its free now .I will let you know when I do it
How do you like the Huion? Does it have the same capability as the Wacom, is it pressure senstive when sculpting? looks like a good find!
It has all the capabilities of a wacom (pressure sensitive ect) at 40% of the price .I have been using it for 2 months and it runs awesome . I am not saying a wacom is not worth the price or if its a better product I am saying for $375 bucks Huion it does a amazing job .
What changed did you see, or learn when going away from the mouse to the larger tablet? Were they some what difficult in getting it straight, getting them to be 2nd nature so to say?
Am looking a picking this thing up but don't want to be saying hot heated words when I've got to push a button on the stylist when I forget, with the mouse its right there and I don't have to remember so there is no loss in thought power or remembering what I was going to do. I can do just about anything I want right now, though my windows 7 is really acting old, and the w 10 frustrates me.

Have you ever tried to draw or sign your name with a mouse ? its really hard . in fact its impossible period .Using a pen to do it is mush easier .First you have pen "sensibility" the harder you press the thicker or stronger the application is. you don't have this with a mouse and its a big deal when sculpting
I personally don't use the buttons on the pen I have a "mini keyboard " and a3d connection 3 dx space mouse I use that instead, for me its much easier to navigate around even in Artcam .. Can you use a mouse of course but it will frustrate you in the end .
Its real easy to learn ,you just need to figure a way around at first then it becomes natural in no time and you will see a big change in your work flow and quality of your model.
I am old school like you. change is a big deal for me I don't like it. I am willing to try new things After I have bashed my head on a wall for a years getting frustrated with what I am trying to do ... I did that with a mouse .finally gave in and I just love the tablet
Just to be clear. I only use the tablet when I draw and sculpt ..The mouse is for everything else
If you are not sure.. buy a second hand one on ebay you can get them as cheap as $50 try it out and then decide Wacom has a new one for $90 what works great as well ..
i bought a tablet 7 years ago at first I liked it, but stopped using it ..got frustrated and did not see the benefit so I gave up .2 years ago I got motivated again this time I watched tutorials on how to use it properly and now I am hooked .Mike you might buy one and hate it like I did it all depends on your motivation and what you are using it for.. I will feel bad if you bought one based on this post and did not use it ..Do your research first
Am glad you pointed out about the mouse, I use it exclusively, drives people up the wall, because that thing is going to town and its going to get there, I do a lot of sculpting and have thought of getting a 32 inch monitor (want things to be in there, so to say)
I purchased a tablet when they first came out and heard all the (bs) stuff I couldn't live without thought I'll giver a try (I gave that tablet to my daughter, best decision I made) couldn't get myself calm when using it, too many things going on had to click this button that button JUST TO DO MY WORK, it had to go. My daughter might inherit another one, I liked what you said you use yours for sculpting and the mouse for everything else.
I purchase only after I think I can benefit from it, sought out others thoughts on it seek to understand what I have to look out for, like that ton of bricks that might fall, or a slight bend in my tongue when I'm trying to get a wave to look right.

the buttons on a Tablet are a waste of space and time ..It's easier to use a Gaming Keyboard it's a quarter of the size of a normal Keyboard and does the job better than those terrible buttons ..A tablet with no buttons is the way to go in my opnion.
Did I mention you can customize all the keys on then to suit your needs
Nothing irritates me more than getting a email from a customer after you have spent hours on a project ..I found a cute picture can you please do this one for me instead ,will there be a extra charge ;)
