NEED HELP SAVING IMPORTED 3DS CLIPARTS FOR FURTHER USE IN CARVECO

WHENEVER I TRIED SAVING 3DS CLIPART FRON GOOGLE, AND IMPORT IT TO CARVECO, IT COMES OUT FLAT AND VERY MUDDY. I ALSO HAVE PROBLEM FINDING IT WHEN IT IS SAVED. WHEN I GO TO RELIEF AND CLICK ON IMPORT, HOW CAN I GET IT OPEN IN IMPORT 3DS MODEL?

THANK YOU.

  • Hi Gary,

Please provide a screenshot to illustrate what you're trying to describe as "flat and very muddy" and the issues you encounter when saving and importing files into your Carveco software.

Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation.

  • Gary,

Are you sure it's 3d and not just a photo, I've looked at some of that stuff google says are 3d and it is not, they are just flat 2d images that you can use to make 3d.

fyi, I import all my images, have always done that, sort of stuck in the mud in what I do because it easiest for me, I can make quick work of drawing the vectors (lines) then using what ever tool carveco has to give me the height I want.
