  • If you want help with your stl files, we can 3D print them for you, we have 3  SLA printers and we can mould and cast or machine for you if you need some support, we are based in Congleton, Cheshire.  We will offer support in this way to any Carveco customer.

  • Hi John,

    I'm guessing it's a 3D model - both front and back sides

You can either work in a regular model but then you have to manually load in both sides. It would probably be easier to work with a Project.

From the project, you can load in the 3D STL.

Next position it so the origin is at the split line. Then use Create Relief.

Afterwards you will have both front and back reliefs, but for a mold, they must be inverted.

You can always send me an email at artistic.cad@gmail.com, I can create a custom tutorial for you.

    Good luck,

    Jen

  • Hi. Thanks for the reply. If you could do the tutorial I would appreciate it. I am still new to creating stuff and that would help a bunch.

    Thanks,
    John
