custom toolpaths

Hi

I was reading an article will post a link on designing or making custom toolpaths that could be used to machine the surface of a model. My particular interest is direction of the toolpath example a wavy direction and overlap distance of the tool on a model. I don't have a clear understanding yet from the article as they mention some other programs that they are using but was wondering if this might be possible using what's available in Carvco.

Thanks Bill

  • Wow Mike

Thanks for the direction played with it a bit this morning and it's a great start. for what I had in mind the fluting coupled with the transform toolpaths worked, still have alot of experimenting but a good direction.
