Vector layer visability problem

Hi everyone!  I have an ongoing issue with vector layers I have turned off, reappearing when I move my cursor back into the model area. It doesn't always happen so I think there is a variable somewhere in my process of working with vectors and layers that I am unaware of causing this. If I create a new layer and move the problem vectors there I can regain control but often the problem reoccurs further on in my drawing process although not always with the same layer.

Any ideas on what I may be doing to cause this would be greatly appreciated.

  • Phil,

I'm not support, I don't know what kind of pc you have, nor what you have in it as for your video card, What I did is reset the model area added boarders 3 times so I have completely maxed out my system even did some modeling on this file the resolution is 12,000 by 12,000 (bogged it down so much it's frozen) so it's really dogging it and yet I have tried to get your problem, sorry can't I even had 8 vector layers they stayed put when I shut them off or turned them on.

You might try to reinstall the software see if this helps, may-be do a scan disk, a defrag, may-be check and see if your video drivers are up to date.

  • Thanks Mike Everything computer wise is up to spec. Although I haven't checked out this theory yet, I may have inadvertently grouped vectors from two layers. I'll test my theory and let you know.

    Cheers!
