Toolpath simulation icon does not work.
Hi, could someone check to see if their toolpath simulation icon works? I have a custom toolbar at the top of my screen with a toolpath simulation icon that is grayed out. I can run a simulation by right-clicking the toolpath. Am running the most up to date Carveco program. Thanks, Danny

In Artcam 2015, the toolpath generation is much faster and the simulation is faster as well. Haven't checked Autodesks artcam yet. Jewelry pieces are not very big and it takes several minutes just to run a simple toolpath in Carveco.
Looks like the toolpath simulation icon was consolidated with project panels toolpath in a previous update. The toolpath generation and simulation are very slow on both of my computers...since 3d printing became available, I do not do a ton of milling anymore but still need to on occasion...seems very sluggish.

I've been thinking on this since you posted it, today I finally realized, you first have to run the toolpath first to get the simulation for that shortcut to work.
I haven't noticed how much the time difference is between 2015 and carveco, I don't think it's much if any, I know that the toolpaths work the same for me.
