Technique video page
Every once in a while I see or someone posts a link to a excellent video from the past on using different tools in Artcam /Carveco. Example in General discussion page a link to a video from years back about using layers and many other functions in the software. Myself I learned alot from the video and the responses to the posters questions. The feature would not be in the software but perhaps a category on this forum were links to past video's about using the software could be in one place. There are lot of videos out there to sift thru it would be nice when a good one is come across to add a link here and even start a discussion about the contents in it.
Thanks for reading

Hi Bill,
We are rapidly building our repository of demonstration videos on our YouTube channel.
I expect content from our YouTube channel will be shared across other Carveco sites, but the main place to source demonstration videos is there.
We do not intend to share content associated with discontinued ArtCAM software, as ArtCAM software has its own YouTube channel which is not owned or maintained by our company. In addition, Carveco software is not interchangeable with ArtCAM software and it is important for us to make that clear to our customers.
I can understand that, I guess my idea for a video page was the interaction of user comments on the valuable experience of long time users of the past.
Thanks Bill
Discussion of demonstration videos is very much encouraged and this is one of the main benefits of using a YouTube channel; you can discuss the content of a demonstration video directly below the video itself. For example:
I think I can add to what Bill was saying in regards having videos at our disposal, a video gives a good starting point esp. if you can come back to it after trying off line what was presented, I just saw the Carvco videos page (didn't know it was there) I as a wood worker would love to learn some of the ins and outs that the jewelry profession has, the tools (like in using the Projects tab) there has been many times that using it or rather being proficient (though I know that this is my fault for not learning it) in the usage of it would have benefited me greatly (there are vast areas of the software that I do not use because it is in the dark for me), like right now I have to rack my brains for how to model a vase according to wishes of a customer, and I am not being successful, but I think if I had a better understanding of another part of the software then I might have sailed right on through.
Well for $.02 my worth
And I look forward to some more videos.

I just spent some time looking at the videos on the you tube page and I must say they are much better than the ones provided by DelCam. It is much easier to follow what is happening and why. Well done Carveco team.
