What I do is make a new folder give it the name of the client, with relief model name on it, save all toolpaths to that, or rather in that. If just making a model I save all models by a name that relates to the type of model it is. Oh and by the way don't just save the nc. files, save the model you are getting it from, there have been so many times that I had screwed things up, had I not saved the model I would have lost so much more in my head, you always can come back and redo anything in short order if you had the completed file,,, (just a small gift for you).
How do you save a .nc file in stl form, so i can send it into my estlcam to run the stl file for a 3d relief since carveco won't connect to my ardino uno board? One reason i canceled my subscription because i can do everything i need to do except save the file and carve it on my bobs e3 cnc.
You cannot convert a toolpath output file (*.nc) into a triangle mesh (*.stl). You can export a triangle mesh in STL format from Carveco Maker.
We sent you a post processor for testing as part of support request #1371, but you did not respond. We also recommended a post processor for testing as part of support request #1578, but again you did not respond.
