Wow, like to know more about the process. Leaves look metallic. Was that acquired during the etching process? What kind of tools did you use. Did you have to use an putty dam during etching? Or, was it an bath method? Looks very professional. Looks like Turquoise embedded with Metallic Leaves.
Nothing more than clear float glass. anything else is just reflections from the surrounding room.
I machined some leaves that I designed in CarveCo set up a refractory sand in one of my kilns and let gravity do the rest. for the etched background I hand painted a resit on the positive leaves and sandblasted the background.
