  • I don't think so, I have so many that I have made over the years I never (well almost never) look at that stuff, I am more interested in the tooling and how nice it is then going on from there, If you need something you could always ask maybe someone would or could send it to you.

By the way what kind of work will you be doing? Have you got some contacts (are you advertising yourself) to the community where you're at? After you get up and running (making things) save a few examples for yourself, bring them with you to clients, along with photos in a pad, or phone so they may see what you do, and don't forget to have sample to give, they are a good selling point, maybe not today but in the future.

Hope all the best, and don't forget to ask questions, we have all been new, we will enjoy them and some of us will pitch in to guide you. Good luck.

  • In reality, once you get into it, Carveco could replace the tv for entertainment, I know when I first got Artcam i was sort of like an untouchable, no one knew that I was even breathing let alone communicating with my family, my kids would get real pissy, but for me it was survival, no one else was going to help, so it was push push push just to learn then implement what I was learning. Well, now things are different I can do what ever I want with the cnc because I have spent the money on good software and machines, and I enjoy doing things that no one else seems to be able to do. I hope for the best for you.

  • Forgot, When you get into modeling your self, look at each model and see how it's done (once you get a clear idea you will be able to work a lot of files the same way, these are not hard to do if you understand how it's done. for a little help check out youtube search for artcam, plus I put some videos in the feature area just for a chance to get some more cool tools added to the software.
