  • If you are evaluating the program and having problems with it you might want to deal with support directly. This forum is not as well populated as would be ideal yet so you might get faster results by dealing direct.

Just a thought, no criticism of the folks on the forum currently intended.

  • Thank you for your help I figured out what I was doing wrong.

I do have another question regarding the software. The software I use now has a dongle key and sometimes I take it

home to do work. Is there a way to do this with CarveCo or do I need to buy another licence?

  • With Craveco you can install the program on 2 PCs at the same time so this would be good for you in this regard.

I gather that you have a license for AC so I thought I would mention the following.

I am not sure if Carveco is still offering this but hopefully they are, contact carveco sales and tell them you have a legal license of AC, it does not matter what version it is as long as its a legal license, Carveco staff will do what is nec to validate your license and if all checks out they will give you a promo code that will allow you to buy C for $1300 US.

If you have any questions going forward you know what to do,,,,,,,,,,glad to help when we can.

  • James,

If you don't mind, what were you doing to get an out of bounds error. I have never gotten this so this what drives the question.

  • Mike,

    Wade here.

out of bounds happens when you set your software "XYZ" settings to one location and your machine  "XYZ" or aka Home or soft home if the machine can not make the move do to these limits its faults to out of bounds.

just need to make sure both are set to the same start location XYZ or make sure you understand where the machine wants to move.

    I have a 5000 and a 3000 so i have seen a few times over the years

    hope that helped

  • This must be on the Multicam machine then, my techno doesn't do that it just hits the limit switches then I say some naughty words go in and rerun the code after correcting my settings.

       Thanks for the info.

  • Same on my Techno... and the fact you had to go out of DOS mode.. well least for me.

its actually a nice feature in Multicam, plus it will show on screen what its being told to do, so nice visual as well.

    Your welcome, Mike
