Merging Vectors

I'm laying out a tray to hold the items I frequently use.  While laying out for my caliper, I used rectangles and circles. When completed I went in and trimmed the "extra" pieces to get my outline.  I then went to create the toolpath. I get a 2 or more vectors intersecting warning and Carveco Maker will not create the toolpath. I've tried joining/merging the vectors, but am not having any luck.  Sure it's simple, but I'm not figuring it out. Any help appreciated!

  •  Have you tried to use the vector doctor? It will give you an indication of where the troubles are, you might just have a small section that's the problem child. When you find out where it is you'll have a couple options to fix it, 1) you can redraw the thing or you can use the weld vector command (tool) 2) or you can use node editing where you grab a node or two and move it or them slightly so there is no intersecting (running over one another) some times it just takes just a thousandths of an inch 2A) or lastly you can use the node editing to delete the offending node (S)

  • OH I forgot if you grabbed the whole group of vectors you just might have an errant one that's a real pain, sometimes when I get running to fast I get those all over and they are not very big.
