How to change the safety settings that divide the cutting depth in Carveco Maker

Hello, I'm working on CNC that digs out acrylic.
Recently, I'm digging 4.2mm of 8T acrylic.
The blade goes in all at once, and 4.2mm needs to be dug out.
But divide it 4 times and dig 1.05mm is there a way to turn this off?

(I am not good at English because I am Korean. I would appreciate it if you could tell me in detail).

thx :)

  • Have you thought about doing a profile first then the other toolpath, I don't have the latest version but if I remember correctly you can add a ramp to it, the ramp will do a slow cut at an angle to the depth you set, by the way which toolpath have you selected? Are you using the area clear or are you cleaning out a channel, or are you doing a relief toolpath? I know a relief will cut smack down to the complete depth if you use it. I know the profile toolpath will take the steps you set it with same for the area clearance toolpath. What is the size of your end mill, is it 4 mm, I know acrylic can gum up an end mill if you use the wrong type.

    When you select the bit (end mill, cutter) in the selecting it you have a choice to edit the perimeters the stepdown in this case to what you need.

        If I didn't help please respond (even if I did respond also) with a clarification.

  • Hi, Mike. Thank you for your answer

    The process is like this

    1. Use the illustration file to make the drawing a line to be moved as the drill is processed (.ai>.dxf)

    2. Using profile (long) (selective vector), starting depth at cutting depth =0mm Finshi depth =4.2mm tolerance =0.001mm / Profiling tool is a tool I made
    Tool Type = slot drill
    Diameter = 8.00 mm
    Processing Defaults
    Stepover 4.200 mm (4.2/53)
    Step down 4.200mm
    Spindle speed 22000 rpm
    Power supply speed 6400.000 mm/min
    Sudden drop speed 2560.000 mm/min
    Using this tool
    Cutting Direction = Conventional

    (Add leads, lamps, bridges) I don't use these functions
    options= safe z=5mm home=x0 y0 z5
    Material Thickness = 8 mm

    The setting is like this
    The problem is, as I said, you have to dig 4.2mm at once
    The problem is to divide it four times and dig it up
    Please let me know if you need more information. I'll let you know more
    I'd appreciate it if you could solve it

    Just in case, I'm sending you a file
    If you have time, please take a look
    What I set up is on the left vector
    I'd appreciate it if you could make an example with the vector on the right
    I want to compare and study
