Can this popup be disabled?
Every time I save a toolpath, this message pops up and needs to be closed. I vaguely remember finding how to stop it in an old version of ArtCAM, but I don't know how to disable it now. Can anyone help?

I do believe this pop up is for our benefit. This thing tells us, then reminds us the work is done. If you have ever cut something out then get rather agitated because you forgot to do something someone wanted (you did a big time boo-boo) and now you've wasted the entire day only to find out you screwed up) You get back into the program fix it then forget to run the blasted toolpath to the fixed model, then rerun the bad toolpath, or am I the only one. Or you get everything on the cnc search for the toolpath and it's not there, you could have swore you ran it but you can't find it. I get into a rush, the old saying "Haste makes waste" applies. If we did not have the reminder it would not help.
By the way which year did they allow us to stop a pop up? I went back to 2010 and I could not find how to stop the reminders, maybe I missed it.

Mike,
I don't need the message for every tool path. It is a waste of time for me to have to close it each time. Maybe a different message could be created to warn you if you try to close the screen with unsaved tool paths in the queue? And it is extra annoying for me because I know I turned it off in my ArtCAM.

Hi Steve Alix,
Unfortunately, no option is currently available within your Carveco software for suppressing the notification message shown in your supplied screenshot.
Please confirm what ArtCAM product variant you were using along with its version and build. That way, we can investigate what options might have been available to you in the past.
Thanks for your time and cooperation.
Steve,
I understand, I've been using artcam since 2008, or was it 2005 (it's been a little while). For me though there are a lot of things that don't bug me, though there have been a few things that I would love to have, like when using the angle plane tool we have 4 points available to use (sometime 3 just isn't enough) and to allow us to have the gift of creating a concave or a convex shape using the angle plane tool (man that would be so useful) and when using the cookie cutter we get the ability to add height that doesn't contort the model just adds "Z" height where we want it. Then there's the idea that just struck me like lightning in the toolpath (the profile toolpath) we get to choose inside vector, along vector or outside vector...How about changing the toolpath color to reflect which one (just scraped a $150 board cause I got too busy to pay attention to all the perimeters (my mistake, and I own it but a little help on this one would be great).
Crap went a little wordy, sorry about that.
Mike
We have had all of the versions of ArtCAM and were currently running the 2018 version. When I save a toolpath in that software, nothing pops up that needs to be closed. It makes my job much easier. It will ask if you want to replace an existing file if the name is the same, but the popup is disabled somehow.
Hi Steve Alix,
Please review the Release Notes associated with Carveco 1.38 on our company website, which include the following excerpt:
The latter point likely explains the notification message which you've encountered when saving your toolpaths from your Carveco software. Please try deselecting the Save Toolpaths dialog's Keep open after saving check boxes and then saving a toolpath again. We expect that the notification message which you've encountered won't be shown for as long as this check box remains deselected.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
