Move origin from bottom z plane to top
Hi,
I'm relatively new to Carveco Maker, but have been creating some 3d relief carvings from STL files. All has been good until now.
For the last models I have created, the origin point has been set on the bottom z-plane, rather than the top as before. Therefore, when I try to carve this, it all happens above my material.
I have tried to recreate a carving that I have done previously, and it is now setting the origin in the wrong place.
Thanks,
Dave

Are you talking of the toolpath?
In choosing a toolpath you set the material "Z" either to the top of the material or to the bottom. You might want to check how the toolpath is setup. I am hoping I understand, now if you set it to the bottom then. If you are air cutting then you need 1) to set the material thickness in the toolpath. 2) make sure you set your "Z" by touching off on your "Z" plate. Sometimes when I get too busy my mind forgets some things, I have forgotten many time to do the thickness of my material then I go to air cutting, I then grumble say some dirty words go back and run the toolpath again this time setting the material thickness.
