Lead In for Area Clearance Toolpath
I'm not seeing a Lead In option for the Area Clearance toolpath on latest Carveco Maker (1.48). I'm trying to flatten a board, and I need to start the toolpath (plunge to first depth) outside of the actual area being cleared. I could expand the overall area so that the tool does the first pass in open air, but I would rather not. Any idea how to make this work?

A 2D Area Clearance toolpath does not give you the option to add lead moves; please watch the following demonstration video available from our Carveco Training portal: Area Clearance
You can set the origin to a specific position using the Set Position dialog, which is displayed by selecting the Edit > Set Position menu option in your Carveco Maker software, and this would determine the start position for your 2D Area Clearance toolpath; please watch the following demonstration video available from our Carveco Training portal: Changing the Origin. You would also need to zero your CNC machine in the same position as you've set the origin in your model within Carveco Maker.
