Smooth or Smudge tools don't respond immediately.
My computer specs are: i7-10700K with a 3070 gpu. Everything runs fine until the moment I have to use the smooth or smudge tool, where I start working on it and the progress of it shows up after a while or when I close the tool window. Anyone knows any solution about it?

That sounds a bit strange indeed... It has happened to me but in rare cases, mostly when the file I'm working on is too big or too busy.
Cases like:
- When in 3D View tab, choose 'Display Material' instead of 'Display Bitmap'
- If you have many Clipart pieces shown in your model space then try to 'Toggle Clipart Visibility'
- In many cases when sculpting, if 'Mirror X or Y' is set, it might slow thing down a bit, especially when smudging.

The most recent Carveco software release you're currently able to use is Version: 1.16 Build: 2020-06-16-1750-95e752aa.
A fix for a reported lagging issue when sculpting using the XP-PEN was included as part of the Carveco 1.18 Update, which was released on October 20th 2020: https://carveco.com/2020/10/20/carveco-v1-18-release-notes/
