Can anyone advise? I want to chnange the slot for the 2 part to slot together to be 9mm as the material will be 9mm ply

  • Hi Joe Loyzaga,

Before importing your instrumentstand1quarterinch.svg file into Carveco Maker, you must create a new model representing the height and width of your piece of plyboard.

To import your instrumentstand1quarterinch.svg file into your open model, use the Vector > Import menu option. Please watch the following demonstration video available from our Carveco Training portal: Importing Vectors

To edit the shape of your imported vector artwork, select the Node Editing tool and then adjust the nodes accordingly. Please watch the following demonstration video available from our Carveco Training portal: Node Editing

To machine your edited vector artwork, create a Profile toolpath including Bridges. Please watch both of the following demonstration videos available from our Carveco Training portal:

Once you've calculated your toolpath, you need to save it from Carveco Maker using a post processor option which is compatible with your CNC machine or its controller. Please watch the following demonstration video available from our Carveco Training portal: Saving Your Toolpaths

Thanks for your time and consideration.
