Editing existing files
I have a project where I want to machine quite a few copies of the same model and in VCarve Pro I can open the file and change the width and thickness of the wood - if I have too of course as pieces of wood are not all exactly the same - and recompile the toolpaths but can't work out how to do this in Carveco Maker without starting a new project for each one which theoretically could be nearly every copy I make and seems like not a very efficient way to do it
Any help appreciated as only new user of Carveco Maker but VCarve seems to be so much more user friendly in this regard but of course I might be missing something very simple haha

Hi Kerry Cain,
Your reported difficulties seem to derive from familiarity with a third-party product rather than an inherent usability issue in Carveco Maker.
Please read the following discussion: How do you reset the size of model?
So long as you want to adjust both the size and width of your model, you can use the Model > Set Model Size menu option. The Set Model Size dialog's Height and Width boxes do not enable you to adjust the model's height or width independently.
If you want to reduce the size of your model area, you can draw a vector in the workspace equivalent to the required model size, then select the Model > Crop menu option.
If you want to change the Material Thickness, select the Toolpath > Material Setup menu option.
You might find the following demonstration video available from our Carveco Training portal useful: Making the Model Smaller
Please browse through the collection of demonstration videos available from our Carveco Training portal: https://learn.carveco.com/
Thanks again for your time and consideration.
Thanks for the help and agree I was a bit confused with model and work piece but after watching that video it is very clear - did think it must be something simple but just couldn't work it out - thanks again and looking forward to using it more
